Please write your own bio:
I was born & raised in Beaver Dam, WI and have been there my entire
life. I got my love for Western Swing from my dad. One of the first things
I remember was constantly playing those old Bob Wills and Spade Cooley
78’s of his. I started playing steel guitar in 1974 and knew then
that it was all I wanted to do. But there’s no living to made in
playing music around Beaver Dam, WI so I had to keep a day job. Since
1974 I’ve played in several Country & Western Swing Bands.
Most notably were Ida Red for 18 years and The Western Box Turtles for
5 years. I have also played with Wayne Hancock. I have 3 grown children
and am very proud of all three of them. I am currently engaged to a wonderful
woman who is as excited about me coming
to play for The Wheel as I am. I’ve been a fan of Asleep At The
Wheel for the last 30 years – now it’s time to play!
